As we dive into race season, we are always looking for new ways to give back to the sport. Whether it be adding new ideas or improving the current! This year for the 2016 National Open Rookie Award we are having special t-shirts made to raise money for the National Open Rookie jackpot! We are also planning a race night fundraiser at either Jakes Wayback Burgers or Quaker Steak and Lube. So FANS, be on the look out for a hot new t-shirt design and an event invite!!!
As many of you may know this award was made to attract up and coming drivers from POSSELAND and across the country, that have never competed in the Williams Grove National Open. The 2015 National Open Rookie Award and the $1500.00 prize went to Chase Dietz from York, PA. There were only 3 participants in the 2015 National Open due to the horrible weather, Chase Dietz, Paige Polyak, and Wayne Dedetto. We are hoping for better weather and more participants in 2016!!!
